Hi friends, very glad to be here, the name is Jat Fat Chuen, a general Chinese student, you can call me by the English name Magnus as well. Finally, I've made up my mind to start writing my own blogs. It's been quite a hard choice to me for a great long time, because I got little confidence in my English writing and my academical foundation. About a year ago, I watched a YouTube video from a productivity youtuber called Ali Abdaal, he inspired the idea to keep track of and share my journey of studying anything without expecting for any reward, and something great shall happen as long as I could insist on it.
So here I am, trying to put what I've learned into practice.
The contents are about the summary and reviews of the books I’ve been reading, which are relevant to investing and finance most. As we live in a fast-paced society right now, it’s hard but quite necessary to keep obtaining knowledge from books, and I understand that there is a great obstacle for some people to start learning things about investing on books, me the same, we might have language problems, time shortages, or psychological barrier thinking that investing is not the thing for general people. But that’s all fine, I’m just a beginner, too, what I hope is that we can learn and make progress together, keep sharing useful knowledge and discussing the problems we have, being the company of each other so that we could stick to the journey as long as we can.
Learning English comes from the need of a language tool to learn investing, where my authentic passion and interest is. But the way I learn English is definitely not in system, most by watching YouTube videos and reading books, so I own the debt if my writing skills and grammars make you suck a lot.
And it will be very nice of you guys to point out my mistakes and help to correct them.
